19 July 2006Refraction® to MagnussoftAs a result of narrowing focus on multi-media software and web services, Xentronix is forced to stop the development of Refraction.Our initial intention, to bring a photo retouching suite to the BeOS/Zeta platform and then move on to multi-media applications is actually accomplished. Though, the timeline is everything but what we had planned. Over the years, Refraction grew much bigger than intended for it's first release, keeping us from working on other planned projects. In order to keep Refraction under active development, and available on the Zeta platform, we made a deal with Magnussoft GmbH. Refraction will continue as a Magnussoft product. The resources that come available with the disposal of Refraction, will be employed to continue the development of multi-media software. |
